Drake Presents the "Away From Home" Tour

If you are jumping on the Drake train, make sure you check him out at a University near you. Drizzy has released his first few tour dates that will be taking place in 2010. "The Away From Home" tour lacked a theme, and when asked Drake explained that the theme of the tour was college. Drake talks Em Collabo and Album Release

Drake caught up with MTV's Sway at the Grammy's and gave us a little insight on how his debut album "Thank Me Later" is coming. Although there is no actual date on when Young Money's cash cow (other than Weezy of course) is dropping, he did reveal that the first single should be released within the next few weeks. We already know Jay-Z is appearing on the album but it appears that Eminem has sparked interest as well, and is a definite possibility for a collaboration.

Jay proved with his newest release of the Blueprint 3 he is far from being an over the hill emcee. Although it was debated it is clear he is the King of Hip Hop. With Beyonce as his queen there is really nothing Mr. Carter can't accomplish.

Big Collaboration to be Released on More Than A Game Soundtrack

A statement has just been released that Lil' Wayne, Drake, Kanye West & Eminem have teamed up for a song titled "Forever" that will be featured on the soundtrack to the new film More Than A Game...

The movie is about 5 basketball players from Akron, Ohio. What is said to be a remarkable true-life coming of age story about friendship and loyalty in the face of great adversity. Coached by a charismatic but inexperienced player’s father, and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, the “Fab Five’s” improbable nine-year journey leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship. Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested—both on and off the court—as James’ exploding worldwide celebrity threatens to destroy everything they’ve set out to achieve together. More Than a Game combines a series of unforgettable one-on-one interviews with rare news footage, never-before-seen home videos, and personal family photographs to bring this heart-wrenching and wholly American story to life.

This is going to be the biggest collaboration since "Swagga Like Us" and I'm sure all emcees will be on their A-game as the dispute of greatest rapper alive is constantly debated. I'm almost certain Drake will only be a hook on the feature but we are all anticipating this to be a bigger release than the stars in it.

Drake is Doing Okay

Newest Young Money star Drake appeared on stage during last nights America's Most Wanted tour. He collapsed on stage a few days ago from a previous injury (torn ACL) but came on stage to let everyone know he is doing fine. Assisted by a cane, he did not perform but definitely showed love towards Lil' Wayne.

Drake Collapses at Concert

At a show in Camden, NJ (Jersey stand up) Drake was on stage performing his hit "Best I Ever Had" and collapsed while mid-spin. If you remember Drizzy's performance at the BET Awards 09, you'd recall he sang while sitting on a stool. Drake had a torn ACL to begin with and never received clearance from the doc to follow through with the America's Most Wanted tour with Lil' Wayne. Four men carried Drizzy off stage and Wayne finished the show solo.

Apparently the doctor said if Drake tore his ACL for a second time, there is a good chance the Degrassi star might never walk again. Ain't it ironic he played a dude in a wheelchair on the show.
