New Music: Dutch x Time (For Us)

Checkout the debut of my newest leak "Time (For US)" produced by DJ Fono off of the album "Big Dreams: A Tale of 2 Sides" coming soon to your itunes music store. This track will be featured on Side A of the album, which concentrates more on the hip hop side of my music. Fono and I cut this track months ago. The music video is shot and in the editing process now. Take a listen and share with your closest hip hop heads.

Song of the Week: Dutch x Eli's Coming

Fresh out of Logic, DJ Fono and I present to you the official New York Football Giants Super Bowl anthem for 2012. It's been an incredible season, so I wanted to do my part to show my appreciation for the resilience this team has showed. I'm sure there will be many haters upset at the fact that my Heat City (Miami Heat Rack Ctiy Remix: See older posts) release is followed up with a New York Giants anthem. So just to put to rest any doubt, I am a NY born, NY proud Giants fan. I mainly grew up with football, baseball and hockey in center focus. It wasn't till I lived in South Florida that I got love for the sport of basketball which was definitely Heat influenced. Now...back to "Eli's Coming", The original song of the same title is by the band Three Dog Night put out many years ago. The idea came from a suggestion my pops made, and the persistance to follow through came from my homie Mal (@LivinWitMal). Really impressed with how DJ Fono chopped it up and really gave it a live feel. Please enjoy and spread the word if you enjoy, go big blue.

The time has come to release another single to the masses. I present to you, Take Over the City featuring Ahmad Akili, and produced by DJ Fono. This is the second single off Side B (First was Hands High). A real inspirational joint that could definitely earn some national attention or local airplay. For my first DJ of the week, I have to highlight one of my closest friends over the past couple years, DJ Fono. A talented veteran who specializes in old school hip hop but can cater to house and open format with ease. Fono not only DJ's but is a whiz behind the midi controller as well. He engineered the entire Late Nights on Mars mixtape and produced over 80% of my debut album Big Dreams: A Tale of 2 Sides. Amongst producing, Fono is an entrepreneur, owning his own label Roundabout Recordings. You can catch Fono spinning on the avenue in Delray Beach at Solita every Friday and Saturday night.
