Artist of the Week: Michelle Forte
This week's artist, Michelle Forte, I had the pleasure of meeting last week when she performed live at the Solita Spring Fashion Show. This New Mexico native has been spreading her talent around Miami for quite sometime now since linking up with Single House Music. Not only is she easy on the eyes, but Michelle extrudes a kind of energy that electrifies a stage. I wouldn't pin point her into an exact genre but some would recognize it as New Wave/ Pop. While she's putting the finishing touches on her debut album, checkout her performance at Kitchen 305 promoting the first single "Take on the World" above. Not only does she have the look, and the talent, but she appeared humble and a real sweetheart ever since we met. Support this Miami artist and look forward to a possible collaboration in the near future. (See the itunes link below for download)

Video of the Week: Usher x Diplo x Climax
It's almost refreshing to see Usher and Diplo join forces. Most would expect it to be a typical club banger that would get typical overplay at your nearby dance floor. Instead here comes a subtle ballad with just a touch of bang. Check out the premiere of Usher's "Climax" (Produced by Diplo) above.

RIP: Notorious BIG x 15 Years
Today, March 9th is the 15 year anniversary of Biggie Smalls passing. A true inspiration to many, especially on the east coast. Biggie was one of the most talented men to ever pick up a microphone. Today we reflect on what he actually did for the industry and how his hunger changed hip hop forever. We miss you BIG, now and always. Remix of the Week: Brass Knuckles x Gotye
Remix of the week is undoubtably from the homies Brass Knuckles. These dudes have been flying coast to coast in the past few months and are so consistent with their remixes. This one is an absolute smash, remixing Gotye's Somebody that I Used to Know. DJ Anthony Pisano (Liv/Louis Resident), Tony Livadas and Danny D'Brito make up the team, and they are under constant watch from the underground dance scene. Support the new remix and keep your eye on these rising remixers.
Live: WZRD x Conan
Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius stopped by Conan to promote for their latest joint collaboration WZRD. Although I wasn't really feeling some of the joints on this album, I deeply respect Cudi's creative attempt to make music for him and not the fans. Check out Cudder lay down "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" live right here on Conan.

Movie to See: Project X
Last night I had the chance to see the highly anticipated Project X, whose most famous piece is Hangover producer Todd Phillips. This movie was kinda kept under wraps for a while but it is clear this film represents one thing, pure debauchery. And I mean that in the best way possible. I won't give away too much, but just enough to get my point across. From start to finish the film plays out from a first person camcorder witnessing one of the most epic parties to ever hit south California. It has it all, sex, drugs, drinking, explosions, midgets, partying...pretty much anything that can summon that inner high schooler in you, will. Don't expect any Oscar nominations here, just be prepared to witness a good time packed with laughs and a killer soundtrack. I mean who wouldn't like a movie that is banging beats from the likes of Cudi, A-Trak, Pusha T, Shiny Toy Guns, Nas and Wale just to name a few. Definitely go see this movie, perhaps under the influence...
