Video: Brass Knuckles x Asia Tour

Shout to my fellow South Florida homies Brass Knuckles. They wrapped on their Asia tour a couple months back and the footage has finally hit the net. Six cities, packed with fist pumping asians and banging tunes. Proud of the fellas, especially DJ/Producer Anthony Pisano who is one-third of the dominating trio. Check out the video above, and live vicariously through the Brass Knuckles experience.

Remix of the Week: Dutch x Cashin' Out

The buzz around this record in South Florida has been building and building. Although Cash Out might not be the most lyrical of artists, there is something about the hook that just keeps the heads knocking. Check out my free remix to Cash Out's Cashin' Out available right here:

Remix of the Week: Tiesto x Kanye West

Download Kanye West Lost in the World (Tiesto Remix)
Remix of the week goes off to Tiesto. Dude has been doing it for so long and he strongly delivers with this dope remix of Kanye's Lost in the World. The official song hasn't been released yet but here is a downloadable rip off his BBC Podcast "Tiesto's Club Life". Check it out above.

Remix of the Week: Brass Knuckles x Gotye

Remix of the week is undoubtably from the homies Brass Knuckles. These dudes have been flying coast to coast in the past few months and are so consistent with their remixes. This one is an absolute smash, remixing Gotye's Somebody that I Used to Know. DJ Anthony Pisano (Liv/Louis Resident), Tony Livadas and Danny D'Brito make up the team, and they are under constant watch from the underground dance scene. Support the new remix and keep your eye on these rising remixers.

Cover of the Week: Posner x Black Bear

There has been plenty of remixes for Rick Ross's smash mixtape single "Stay Schemin", I am actually putting one out this weekend with past artists of the week Bacon & Jonny Lyrks. But up until now I haven't heard a remix quite like this (more of an acoustic cover). Mike Posner and Black Bear (featured on the Layover's Marauder Music) gave the track a whole new angle playing a live acousic version. Posner is such a talented dude, we've been following him for quite a while now. Check out his acoustic cover of "Stay Schemin" above.

Remix of the Week: Redman x Eminem

This week remix of the week goes out to Shaolin's own Redman. Been a minute since we heard from dude but this came out of nowhere and is a killer. Redman goes in on Eminem's Slim Shady LP's Just Dont Give a Fuck. The nostalgia hit hard when the beat dropped so I had to crown it remix of the week. Check it out and download (by clicking the vinly on the player) right here:

Remix of the Week: Mike Posner (DJ Kue Remix)

This week's remix of the week goes out to Duke graduate Mike Posner. It won't be long till he drops his sophomore album, but the first single "Looks Like Sex" was put out as a teaser on the Layover mixtape (released a couple months back). I like what DJ Kue did here, really taking a soulful pop record and really giving it some body to hold up during a house set. Check out and download it above.

Remix of the Week: The Knocks "Brightside" (Fred Falke Remix)

The Knocks are a disco duo that have been putting out some amazing original and remixed material over the passed year. They really emerged on the scene with their commercial hit (and by commercial, I mean Corona's "Make it Better" Mashup commercial) and my favorite Dancing With the DJ. With that said, our first REMIX OF THE WEEK goes out to Fred Falke who took a great track and really provided some bang to give it a more club friendly vibe. I really dig this joint, and have many Fred Falke remixes in my library...once again, the man delivered.
