New Joint: Jay Z x Open Letter

It's not everyday Hov blesses us with what's on his mind, so this morning when "Open Letter" hit the internet, it's only natural to draw immediate attention. Check out Jay's recent collaborated effort with Swizz Beatz & Timbaland  where he addresses his controversial trip to Havana and his new Sports Management branch of Roc Nation. Listen below and remember where you heard it first....

After quite the hiatus Justin Timberlake is back with the official video to his new single "Suit & Tie" Feat. Jay-Z. Classy video showcasing a great chemistry between Timberlake & Hov with vintage filters and flapper dancers. Check it out above...

Jay Z x Barclays Center (Documentary)

Yesterday was December 4th. The birth of possibly the greatest man to ever pickup a microphone. On this special day, Jay has released his newest documentary showcasing the creation of the Brooklyn Nets & Barclay Center. Watch how he single handedly revived the city of Brooklyn as he prepares for 8 Show performance to bless the unveiling of his new arena. Happy 43rd birthday HOV, still moving with full steam ahead.

New Music: GOOD Music x Jay-Z x Clique

New joint released off the highly anticipated G.O.O.D. Music album Cruel Summer. Listen/Download Clique featuring Kanye West, Big Sean, and Jay-Z. Overall everybody went in hard. Tough task of Sean to match up with two icons, but he definitely delivered.

Video of the Week: The Throne x Niggas in Paris

Video of the week is the long awaited official "Niggas in Paris" off Kanye & Hov's Watch The Throne, which looks like footage from the live concert mixed in witch some killer graphics and effects. I'm sure a lot of people will be pointing illuminati subliminals from start to finish but thats neither here nor there. Check it out, real dope...but if you have any record of seizures or epilepsy, please watch at your own risk.

G.O.O.D. FRIDAY: The Joy

The latest GOOD Friday release features Curtis Mayfield, Pete Rock, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi & Charlie Wilson. A smooth-vibed cool joint. I might be more impressed with Ye's weekly drops than the efforts i hear for his upcoming album "My Dark Beautiful Twisted Fantasy". My input on the matter is this, Kanye has a true love for hip hop, the classic old school flavor that crafts him as a lyricist. Then there is the artsy side to Kanye, where he may not be the most lyrical but he packs so much emotional passion in what he is saying, it doesnt matter. Expect his new album to be more indie sounding than ever before. Personally he should release a second album titled "Good Friday" to come along free with the purchase of his CD, but hey what do i know...im just a dope emcee, with a bachelor degree with more opinions than a jewish mother.

Em & Jay to Headline Yankee Stadium & Comerica Park

Eminem and Jay-Z have collaborated to launch two huge performances to rep their city and love for the game of baseball. On September 2nd the two will perform at Comerica Park (Detroit Tigers home stadium) for a Yankee-Tiger bout, then following that on September 13th they will return to New York for another performance during the Yanks & Tigers next meeting. This is definitely something that has never been done before. Personally I have a tremendous love for hip hop and a traditional love for baseball and the fact that two of my favorite artists will be assisting in merging the two categories is nothing short of amazing. Check out the video below of how they came about the idea.

Jay-Z, Rihanna, & Bono Perform "Stranded" at Hope For Haiti Telethon

The list of performers for the Hop for Haiti telethon was quite extensive but one of the most memorable performances of the night was "Stranded" by Jay-Z, Rihanna, and U2's Bono. The song was written and dedicated specifically for the tragedy that happened in Port Au Prince early last week. My prayers go out to the families affected, and the people who have suffered.

MTV'S Top 3 Hottest MC's of 2009 Revealed

#1 JAY-Z

Jay proved with his newest release of the Blueprint 3 he is far from being an over the hill emcee. Although it was debated it is clear he is the King of Hip Hop. With Beyonce as his queen there is really nothing Mr. Carter can't accomplish.

In Wayne's 3rd appearance in the Top 3 over the past 3 years, Wayne has continued to remain in the spotlight and flourishing Young Money Ent. is only the forefront of what this guy has up his sleeve for the future.

Drizzy was a big surprise to us all when he landed the number 3 spot above Kanye West but Drake single handedly proved to us he belongs there. The kid is thorough and to have the buzz he has grown through his loyal fans from Degrassi and his free mixtapes, the people are on his side. Now landing a deal with Young Money Ent., Drake's album is set to be one of the biggest releases of this year.
